“Many times there is a separation of the soul and the spirit of man. This results from some form of psychological error. This breaks the power of contact. The trolley pole is off the wire. In this condition man is inert, uncertain and timid, and if he ventures even
boldly with a certain degree of faith and confidence, before he re-establishes this contact his efforts must meet with failure.”

Isn’t life so much better, so much more enjoyable when you started to take the time out for you…

…the time to relax and meditate and visualise?

There is no doubt that through my own life, after I was introduced to meditation practices, my life flowed more smoothly.

Then there were times that I did not meditate for sometimes long periods. Things were going so well and I became so busy that I forgot.

First I skipped a day and then a week and then a month and then I was back in a different kind of half awake half asleep “Adamic Dream”.

My trolley pole was off the rails and I didn’t even realise it!

When I got my trolley pole back on the rails….

WOW…

The flow started happening again!

It was amazing…

I had forgotten how peaceful I had been!

Maybe….

I had to forget…

in order to REMEMBER…

Now I know when I am connected and when I am off the rails.

It’s a feeling…

Are you starting to get that feeling?

Do you know yet when you are “running your old programs”?

Can you “Switch” from re-action to connection?

As you continue to build on your daily relaxation and meditation practices you will be building your connection to source.

Your intuition and perception will grow and best of all you will begin to FEEL GOOD more often…

The more you find yourself connected the more your faith will grow. Let’s face it… it’s difficult if not impossible to have faith when your “Trolley pole is off the wire”.

Faith will be one of the concrete gifts of practicing Haanel’s lessons.

This Weeks Exercise

This weeks exercise is about “Memory”

Why is it important for me to have a good memory you ask?

It’s SO IMPORTANT!

Let me explain…

Without a powerful memory you are asleep.

You are running on conditioning.

How can you possibly identify areas in your life that you could change if you can’t remember them?

Most people have a “selective memory”.

They remember a few things but have an inability to remember how they acted in certain situations and how they effected the outcomes of certain actions they took.

Memory is power…

not the power you wield over someone else…

the inner power that you have over yourself.

The ability to recall the events of the day, the week, the year… your life even… is powerful…

really powerful!

As you go through past memories you can release the emotion from them…. the emotions that built up whilst you were asleep.

You can take responsibility…

Implement new ideas and tactics…

and CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

You can remember your victories and bring the emotion and feelings of that into new adventures.

What a gift!

Over the next few weeks you will be building YOUR POWERFUL MEMORY.

Hi Success Friend, This week…Life’s Great “Talent Show” comes to Town :-)

Congratulations and Welcome to Week Six!

Haanel says:

“You need only one talent to be a great success in the world. But this talent must not be wrapped up in a napkin and hidden away. It must be brought forward and put to use. It must be cultivated and polished.”

When you are “on purpose” in your life…

You are in the flow…

You are utilising that “one talent”

and you are using the personal development which you follow to laser focus that talent.

If, like over 84% of the world, you have not identified your “one talent” yet…

do not worry or stress…

Meditation and quiet time for relaxation will undoubtedly uncover something that captivates your interest.

A friend of mine writes about “The Hero’s Journey”.

It is the journey of life that we are all on once we awaken from the “Adamic Dream”.

Until we awaken…

we are little more than robots..

automations…

running on past conditioning…

like old 486 computers with out dated software.

Once we awaken…

We have the ability to choose our path…

to choose the hero’s journey…

and to follow our hearts.

We are no longer robots following the conditioned programming that was handed down to us through our families, schools, friends and society.

It is at this point we may find our one talent…

we may REMEMBER our one talent…

This talent may be put to use in many differing careers of businesses.

It is the talent that we pursue in full conscious awareness that will bring us the joy of living.

If you have not yet found your talent…

Ask, before you go into a meditation or a relaxed state, for your subconscious mind to reveal it to you. Write down the ideas that you have at the end of the meditation and then in a subsequent meditation visualize yourself doing it and see if it generates positive feelings for you.

This process will help you to determine that which you enjoy doing most.

Follow your heart…

Try not to allow your conscious mind to object with excuses of “the practicality” of your choice.

This weeks exercise
====================

Once again we build upon the previous weeks foundation and this week Haanel asks you to realise your ideal as an already existent fact. He asks you to add even more
emotion and joy to the point of basking in gratitude for already having accomplished it.

This is very much aligned to many of the modern teachings such as “The power of Now” or “The Law of Attraction”.

Neville Goddard says:

“Assume the FEELING of the wish fulfilled”

All great teachers ask that you do this and you will receive that which you desire.

This is something that you will have to learn to do…

little by little…

step by step…

as a child learns to walk.

It does take time to master this.

I know this to be true.

You must persevere!

Most people will give up at this point or will already have given up…

but if you keep on doing this you will reap the rewards and benefits of your
actions.

Go back to your list of goals and targets you want to achieve in life and reselect one that you are more aligned to.

This is SO important!

If you couldn’t “imagine” a BIG goal…

Then start with a smaller one.

The process we are doing now is to build a practice that gets results…

If you don’t believe in your goal or believe you can achieve it then you are going to be building another excuse for failure.

This weeks exercise asks you to add emotion to your “desire”

Obvoiusly it’s POSITIVE emotion.

If you are feeling POSITIVE about your desire you will find it easier to add all of the other emotions.

Make your “imaginging” as real as possible.

Imaging that you are living your desire now.

You are there now.

You have already achieved it.

What is it like?

How do you feel?

How do the people in your scene feel?

What are they saying?

What is thier expression?

You are now building the desire in a language the universe understands.

FINALLY you are learning to COMMUNICATE with both your subconscious and the universe.

This is the creation process!

“PROCRASTINATION”…The Killer Of Dreams!

We have all done it, I know that I have…

Partly it comes from not having clear goals…

Partly it comes from not knowing about life…

Partly it comes from not believing in the
universal laws that govern all things…

Partly is comes from an unwillingness to change…

Let me ask you…

If you had faith and a clearly defined target to aim for in life….one that filled you with enthusiasm and was right for you at that point in time.

If you knew that the Laws Of The Universe were real and could be relied upon…

If you were truly doing what you desired to be doing…something that put an ear to ear grin on your face…

Would you still procrastinate?

The Set Up
==========

I have mentioned it before and I think it is relevant to mention it again here.

It is so important at this early stage to get your “Set Up” as right as possible.

The things that stop most people in their tracks are:

Poorly defined goals

Lack of knowledge

Abscence of reliable methods

Procrastination/Lack of effort

Here’s why…

The poorly defined goals leads to inner conflict

The lack of knowledge puts a person at a crossroads without a map

An abscence of a reliable method is like walking backwards with a blindfold on whilst you could be dring on the motorway

And the lack of effort is the result of all the confusion.

Certainty
=========

What we are all seeking in life is “Certainty”

But the closest we are going to get to certainty is “Faith” and faith comes from perseverence, openness, willingness and

You want to be certain that Charles Haanels methods work for you.

You want to bve certain that when you apply them you get to live the life of your dreams

You want to be certain…

…but how can you be?

The Royal Visitor
=================

This week Haanel introduces the “Super Business Manager”.

He says:

“This inner voice or Intuition is the business manager of the universe, balancing supply and demand, and is it not wonderful to know that you have such a business manager
in your private and personal affairs”

“It is in the silence only that you hear the wisdom of the inner voice”

He leads us to the conclusion that success comes from within from following the advice of the Super Business manager and not from dependence upon the information in the external world.

He concluded this chapter by suggesting that intuition is a “Royal Visitor” and that the more we treat out intuition this way the more it will assist us and be available to us.

Ask for Guidance… and you will receive it!

This weeks exercise
===================

This weeks lesson is building on the previous weeks. Your Relaxation time by now would be an enjoyable affair as opposed to a battle. However, if you are still battling
persevere.

You are now starting to “imagine your desire”

Take it a bit at a time and build the image up.

The more details you can add… the better

If you are having trouble getting started think of it as a jigsaw puzzle. Concentrate on each piece of your desire as you build the whole.

It is much easier to “Imagine” a football,than a whole football stadium and a game. But if you start with the ball you can then move to the players and the field and the stadium and then the game itself.

Week Three Coaching Email Psychology Of Business Success


Hi Success Friend,

Welcome to week three!

The Power of Relaxation
=======================

At this point you will have gained some experience of relaxation and meditation. You will have gained a measure of control over your thinking and felt the benefits of relaxing the body.

For some of you this will be a new experience and for some of you it will already be a daily practice.

Personal discipline is something that has to be earned step by step. The ego would prefer to watch the television, read a news paper, have a sleep or do almost anything
rather than something it perceives to be of little value.

Eckhart Tolle in his “Power Of Now” book suggests that by observing the minds chatter (as the watcher) we begin experience moments of being, where we become the watcher
and in those moments of being we experience peace and oneness with all things.
It’s the kind of presence where your attention comes fully into the present moment and you begin to hear the wind in the trees, the birds chirping, the dogs barking.

Both Eckhart Tolle and Deeepak Chopra call this “The Gap” where you enter into the “Now”and this is the space that Charles Haanel suggests that we seek each day.
This is the relaxation and the space where ideas may come to you. Just observe them.

Focus and Concentration
=======================

This week Charles Haanel begins to teach us to focus our minds on a desired positive outcome as opposed to allowing our minds to run wild and lead us with the conditioning from the past.

To build this focus and concentration he suggests that we choose something that we desire. It could be an object or a situation. Choosing what we desire to experience in our lives is a task that for most people is daunting, primarily because unconsciously and consciously they don’t believe they can have what they truly desire. They may believe that they can have a secondhand car because it seems feasable but very few people believe they can have a new car.

For the purposes of this exercise he suggests that we “Use Our Imagination” to work out one thing that we desire the most.

He knew that this in itself would be a real task for most people as most of us have a list as long as our arms of things we would like to be, do or have.

He knew that it would also build our focus and concentration to be able to discard all but the most desirable choice at this point in time.

This is the first step.

In the well known movie The secret, it is suggested that if we cannot manage to feel aligned to and believe that we can achieve a BIG goal we should simply start with a little one and learn to build the “goal achieving muscle.”

If you are going to go for something big, then make sure that it is a desire that will get you up early in the morning and excite you througout the day until you finally fall asleep at night.

If you are going to go for something smaller, make sure that the achievement of it will have significance for you.

Choosing and defining your desire.
========================

To choose one desire you wish to experience you could make a list of goals and take that to your meditation place. Once you are relaxed you could set the intention that the purpose of you meditation is to choose one desire. Then close your eyes and try to experience what it would be like to have achieved each desire on the list one by one.

The one that you ultimately want to work with is the one which gives you the most powerful positive feelings.

If you want to take this process to the “Next Level” you could then use the following method which I have found to be most powerful in defining your desire.

The more detailed your desire, the more likely it is to materialise in the quickest and most harmonious way possible.

Over all of the years that I have been studying and using personal development tools there are two methods that I personally use which are streets above all others.

I’ll give you the info on the first one now as it is inexpensive and easy to use. The other one is a course over a period of weeks and I’ll let you have the details for that in a subsequent email.

The first is by Stuart Lichtman and is a process called Cybernetic Transposition. You can read about it here: http://tinyurl.com/5ayuld

Stuart tracked the results of people doing using his method and they showed that for buisiness “Targets” (he calls goals targets) 100% of the targets were achieved by his test group first time.

In other areas the results were I think around 80% first time.

The Next Step
=============

Charles Haanel suggests in his instructions to student’s that if you have not completed this weeks lesson and exercise, invest a little more time before you move on.

The message is clear…

Take your time and prepare yourself thoroughly this week as the groundwork you are doing now will set the foundation for the following weeks.

If it takes you more than a week, perhaps two, to do this weeks work, thats OK. This is a big week.

Hi Success Friend, Alpha, Theta or Shall I order a Pizza?Congratulations Success Friend! You are now on week two.

The first thing I’d like to say is well done, whether or not you have actually managed to sit quietly each day and take the time to meditate or not.

Even if you just invested five minutes of your time to sit quietly and you have never managed that before its a good start. Even if you started thinking about meditating, but didn’t manage sit down once…congratulate yourself!

Why?

The reason I say this is because we all have to start somewhere, even stopping for one minute on the street and appreciating a flower or observing a bird in a tree is an excellent beginning.

You are saying to yourself:

“Hey, I’d like to make some changes in my life and I am open and willing to slow down and listen”.

If you follow the theory of vibration and the Law of Attraction, then, by congratulating yourself for even the smallest change you are sending out a positive vibration and requesting more of the same. Success builds on success and that is the essence of what I’m sure Charles Haanel would have desired for you.

Alpha, Theta or Shall I Order a Pizza?

The conscious mind is almost always busy. For most people it simply doesn’t want to quieten and allow.

It will have an endless list of agendas and tasks and unrelated thoughts all popping in and wanting to be heard. “I’m hungry anyone for pizza?”- almost anything to avoid a disciplined relaxation session.

Weeks one and two are about letting go of the noise, to the extent that you are ready to participate, and whatever level you are ready to participate at right now is a good point to start.

The brainwave entrainment for the first and second weeks is Theta because it will greatly assist you in quietening your mind, but you do have to sit down and put the headphones on to receive the benefits.

I did receive a question about the meditations which maybe of interest to you…

I’m Puzzled…was the subject.
=====================
“Haanel recommends 15 mins exercise per day. The website says`9hrs 15 mins of exercises, which is about 35 mins per day. That seems out of step with his course.

Was this intentional?

The answer I gave is this:

Each of the exercises is 35 to 37 minutes .

Why ?

Because with brain entrainment there is a period of “Ramping Down” from whatever frequency a person’s mind is at when they start to play the audio….to the desired brainwave frequency level of entrainment, lets say Alpha or Theta.

The “Ramping Down” is a process of “pacing and leading”. In hypnosis it’s called “the induction”.

So…a person will turn on the CD and then calm down for about 12 minutes (this allows the entrainment frequency to catch most people’s brains and lead them) and then they will have about 12 minutes in the zone… which is approximately the prescribed amount of time Haanel suggests…and then they will lead out (“Ramping up”) for about 10- 12 minutes bringing them back to normal waking, feeling refreshed and ready to move on with whatever they are doing.

It cant really be done quicker than that…until people have locked in the feeling of Alpha and Theta and have trained their minds to go there more quickly. Once you have meditated for a while you will begin to be able to command your body to relax and your mind to quieten in a fraction of the time that it takes you when you start learning. Nature helps too which is why Haanel suggests communing with nature on a regular basis.

I hope this weeks email has been of value to you. I didn’t touch on the “lesson” as it is pretty self explanatory and simply requires study. The most important habit that I would wish for you is the ability to relax at will and allow the universe and your subconscious to guide you.

This is the first of 16 weekly emails with some tips on following the course and also to encourage you to follow through with it.

The first task:
===============

If you do not have an MP3 player, it is highly recommended that you do get one as soon as possible. Preload the MP3 player with the lessons, exercises and also the Q&A’s so that you have them at hand.

If you have the CD set, it is still recommended that you use an MP3 player for the exercises and also for your own meditations using the Theta and Alpha meditations which do not have the talking. The CD lessons you can play at any time.

A note of warning
=================
Do not listen to the “exercises” whilst driving or operating any form of machinery as they have brain wave entrainment which will put you into an altered state of consciousness making driving and/or operating machinery unsafe.

It is OK to listen to the lessons and the Q&A at any time.

The next step
=============

Pick a spot in your house, preferably in a quiet room and make this your sacred space for learning. If you have a family or a partner, let them know that you will be taking approximately 30 minutes each day to study and then a further 35 minutes for meditation and visualization. Kindly request that during this time each day you are not disturbed in any way.

Choose a certain time each day that you will reserve for yourself. You can study the lessons at any time, but for the exercises and meditations we suggest early in the morning or in the evening. A couple of the exercises require that you take time just before retiring, so for those weeks your timing might be a little different.

In your sacred space you will require a comfortable chair, but not too comfortable in case you fall asleep. Do not worry if you find yourself drifting into sleep, or your body beginning to slouch. Just learn to bring yourself back into a relaxed, yet aware state as you become conscious again.

One thing that I find it nice to do is to light an incense stick before meditating. If you do this, open a window so that the room does not become too thick with smoke.

If you have any ideas or thoughts that come to you during the meditation, make a mental note to recall them afterwards. Do not interrupt your meditation to write anything down. Some things that come to mind may have value and other thoughts are generally a mental detox.

Lets Get Started!
=================

The lessons are weekly, but do not move onto the next weeks lesson until you have mastered the one that you are on currently.

Study each lesson once per day and make any notes or write down thoughts that come to mind in your workbook. Some questions that you have will be answered during meditations or quiet time. Other questions will be answered as you progress during the week.

Make an agreement with yourself that you will do each exercise once per day as suggested in the course. This might seem a little difficult at first if you are not used to meditation, but within a couple of weeks you will find yourself looking forward to your quiet time.

This week is about making a commitment to the course and about learning how to relax your body and mind. In a couple of days I will send you a link to download a PDF booklet with some further tips for your success with this course.
