Hi Success Friend, “Do you have a difficult situation in your affairs…?”

Congratulations and Welcome to Week Eleven!

Haanel says:

“Again there is a difficult situation in your affairs, if you can only persuade your conscious mind to let it go, to cease it’s anxiety, dismiss it’s fear, give up the tenseness and struggle, the subconscious will ordinarily bring about harmony.

The tendency of the subconscious is always towards health and harmonious conditions.”

Each adversity is an opportunity!

If only we could realise that, when we are deeply in the patterns of past conditioning.

If only we could realise that it is unconscious conditioning that has brought us what we “percieve” as adversity so that we can look inside and resolve the issue and conditioning
once and for all!

Each adversity is an opportunity for us all to be the “observer” and to look at the marvel of our creation!

There are many ways to deal with adversity.

When you conscious mind is bringing up all of the negative thoughts associated with your situation it is a good thing to take a little time out to meditate. This will bring your
brainwave state down from “beta” where it is yabbering and speculating to “alpha” where you can become the observer and look at the situation at hand.

Once you are calm you could then describe the situation you are experiencing by writing it out on a piece of paper. The next step would be to reflect on any instances in the
past where a similar situation has occurred. You may come up with a few similar situations.

Look for the “thread” that connects the experiences…

Look for the common theme or pattern and bring this into your conscious awareness.

Once you are consciously aware of an unconscious pattern you can then recognise it in the future and takes steps to avoid any recurring “adversities” that may occur.

Look for the solutions as an observer…

There is always a solution to any adversity!

Set a goal to overcome the adversity in a way that is right for you. Reach beyond your patternes and build a new way of dealing with similar situations into your unconscious.

I have invested some time in looking at Haanel’s suggested use of a denial to overcome an adversity and I must say that I am more inclined to set a “positive affirmation” than to use the method of denying a negative circumstance.

Having said that, the purpose of all of Haanels’ teachings is for you to become the thinker and to be able to make your own correct decisions.

so…

This week, if you decide to follow to the letter Haanle’s lesson for the week, create and make use of a “denial.”

Otherwise…

Create an “affirmation” that is a positive way of stating a solution to the “adversity” you wish to overcome.
