Haanel says:
“Thought constructively used creates tendencies in the subconsciousness; these tendencies manifest themselves as charachter. The primary meaning of the word charachter is an engraved mark, as on a seal; and means: The peculiar qualities impressed by nature or habit on a person, which separates the person possessing them from all others.”
How is your charachter?
How do you see yourself?
If you are at all like me you would see things that you like and things that you don’t and you would endeavor relentlessly to improve your charachter.
Many people when writing out their “goals” list numerous “things” that they would like to possess; such as houses cars, toys etc. For many people the list would include
family and friends and careers…
But how many people list the kind of person they would like to be?
How many people are willing to look honestly at themselves and to make a list of what they like and what they don’t?
How many people would take the time and make the SUPREME effort to change who they are… to become a better person, the kind of person that they would TRULY like to be?
It’s a tough road…
There are ups and downs…
It’s certainly not a 5 minute job…
But the rewards are INFINITE!
There is an inner peace that comes with the building of charachter that cannot be found in the pursuit of objects…
It is an inner radience that is picked up by everyone you meet…
in every word that you speak…
every word that you write…
every thought that you have…
Communication in the world is both conscious and un-conscious.
This is VERY important to note!
The building of charachter is from the inside out…
Haanel was a man of great charachter and this is evident in all his teachings that are still read today and are still as valuable now as when he first wrote them.
To be a person of good charachter is more valuable than any ammount of money that you could have in the bank or any quantity of assets that you could control.
When you are a man or woman of “good charachter” you will attract to you the same,and with the “power of mind” you are cultivating in your pursuit of charachter you will attract all the riches and all the experinces you desire.
Most people have put the cart before the horse…
They are chasing the objetcs and trying to create from the outside in.
When you create from the inside out…
you will have the world at your feet.
I urge you %$firstname$% to do all that you can to become the person that you desire to be and I wish you strength and courage to find your way through the obstacles you will
encounter on your way!

Haanel suggests that you creat an “affirmation” to assist you in the pursuit of your “ideal” that you have been working on.
I would suggest that you take a little time to create an affirmation that truly works for you…
an affirmation that you are unconsciously aligned to…
an affirmation that will assist you in building your “charachter.”
You can write your affirmation on a piece of paper and then read and edit it.
Continue to read and edit it until you have an affirmation that truly makes your heart sing.
You may want to write your affirmation out 50 or 100 times so that it is firmly engrained in your subconscious.
When you have affirmation that is right for you say it out loud to yourself for 10 minutes per day.
Hold it in your mind and when ever you feel the need reapeat it to yourself.
Do this for one week and notice the changes you experience.
