Hi Success Friend, “KEEP IT TO YOURSELF…?”

Congratulations and Welcome to Week Twelve!

Haanel says:

“Have you a great future mapped out for yourself? Then see to it that you tell no man, if you would arrive.

Have you a great plan or scheme, or invention in the process of hatching?

KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

Your faith in yourself, your future success, are strictly your private pictures, and no one should be allowed to see them except yourself.

Keep these things in the womb of your brain, and when they are born, the world will know of them.”

This is so important and I myself have experienced the collapse of good ideas that I had before they were in process because I shared them with people who did not wholly believe in me or in the idea.

Note this well!

Your mind is unique…

There is not one other peson on this planet that has the same set of memories, knowedge and experience that you do.

When you have an idea…

It is your idea….

It might have come from the universal consciousness…

But the fact that you have the idea is an opportunity for you.

Other people may have similar ideas…

But you have a specific idea, suited to you…

The person that brings the idea to the market place of life will be the person who is most suited to bringing it into reality.

Will it be you?

When you share your idea with other people, perhaps friends or family or co-workers, you will come up against their own belief systems and the contents of their mind.

It is highly unlikely they will see your good idea the way you do.

Most likely they will want to save you from failure, or be jealous and not want you to succeed, or for any number of other reasons…

they will “sow the seeds of doubt” in your mind.

from that point on your idea is doomed.

If you have an idea…

KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

LEARN HOW TO THINK!

EVALUATE YOUR IDEA!

then…

YOU…

…take it to the market place of life, if it passes all of your tests.

If you need outside knowledege and oppinions do your own research…

formulate YOUR plan..

and when you are ready you can then seek the people and resources need.

The world is full of ideas…

in fact…

Napoleon Hill said “they are the cheapest commodity in the world”

The people who succeeed are the people who learn how to think and they incubate their ideas and build the power to a point where they expand into physical reality.

There is nothing I would like to add to Haanel’s instructions this week other than suggest that if you do not yet understand the power of memory revisit the previous lessons and start from the begining of the memory exercises.
